I’ve gone with WP-Forum at Agabus.com for a number of reasons:

1. Simple, but fully featured

2. Seemless integration with WordPress (all I had to do was install and activate)

3. Good internal navigation (users aren’t bounced accidently to the homepage of the blog)

4. Nearly flawless script

Sean’s review pertains to an older version of WP-Forum, but his assessment of four major forum plugins is useful. It helped me decide on my current choice.
